Lightning strike

With an average of around 170,000 lightning strikes per year, a strike in one’s own home is not at all unlikely. Direct lightning strikes are already insured in the basic variant. The premium variant also covers damage caused by indirect lightning strikes up to € 5,000.

Sport events

This includes any events related to sporting activities e.g. sports competitions, sports festivals and sports club celebrations.

Company, School and University Events

These include company anniversary celebrations, summer parties, university events, school parties and children’s parties.

Markets

These include street food markets, cider fairs, farmers’ markets, weekly markets, livestock markets and animal shows.

Earthquake

We know only too well from media reports what damage earthquakes can cause. Earthquake damage is insured up to € 10,000.

Burglary

To ensure that your belongings are also protected from thieves, burglary insurance covers not only stolen items but also damage caused by vandalism.

Storm

Nature is unpredictable. That is why storm damage caused by storms, hail, snow pressure, landslides, rock falls and the like are insured. In the premium variant, floods (up to 5% of the sum insured) are also covered.

Tap water

One leaking pipe and your new furniture is ruined. Tap water damage is insured. The premium version also covers damage caused by water leaking from household appliances, fittings, aquariums or waterbeds.

Fire

For us, fire damage also includes damage caused by the effects of heat. Therefore, your household contents are also insured if they are merely singed, charred, sooty or destroyed by an explosion/deflagration.

Afternoon & Evening:

The Wedding Weather Insurance is valid on the wedding date for the period 12:00 – 18:00 as standard. If you also want to be insured for the evening, you can extend the period to 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. (10 mm of rain).

Outdoor /Music events:

These include music festivals, concerts, theater performances, open-air cinema, tent festivals, beer festivals and fire brigade festivals.

Political / Community events:

This includes all celebrations organized by municipalities as well as events by political parties and interest groups.

Cultural events

These include folk festivals, fairs, church fairs, youth events, music club festivals, knights’ festivals and parades.
